Running consistently is hard

I was a stop-start runner for fifteen years. I know what it’s like to defer race entries, skip training blocks and wonder why it never sticks.

In 2020 I ran 2,020 miles in a year. That’s how I found consistency and learned to train effectively. Now I am a Scottish Athletics qualified coach and I write about my experiences as a runner and what works for me.

From the outset, Fiona spent a good deal of time with me to understand my strengths, weaknesses, areas that I wanted to improve on before building my training plan to ensure that it met with my goal.

On the initial session she observed my running style and quickly pointed out areas of improvement, while making me feel comfortable and at ease at all times.

By following the plan I exceeded my target time which I never believed I could.
Fiona was very patient and encouraging throughout the process and I would certainly recommend her.
